We are saddened to let you know that long-time member and friend Glen McArthur passed away on Monday morning (Sept 1) at Hospice Simcoe. He had just recently celebrated his 88th birthday.
Glen had a deep faith, a sense of humour, a strong work ethic, and was fiercely devoted to his family.
The picture that goes along with this news post is from 2017 when he went through the Vacation Bible Camp car wash. Glen often had a smile on his face and loved to make other people laugh. We will miss that so much.
A memorial service will be held at Westminster this coming Saturday (Sept 6) at 11am with a reception afterwards. (Visitation is from 10-11am.) For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed on YouTube (just click here at 11am).
Please pray for Glen's children, Deb (Rick) and Dan (Lisa), and grandchildren, Jessica, Steven, Sarah, and Curtis.
Glen has had a difficult couple of years -- but we are so happy that he is now free of pain and at total peace in the presence of the Lord!
