Westminster’s oversight body is called the "Presbytery of Barrie" (which extends from Parry Sound to Innisfil and across to Midland, etc.) As a part of their oversight and care of congregations they send a visitation team of three (a "teaching elder" (pastor) and two "ruling elders”) to each congregation approximately once every five years. This is a part of the normal oversight process, and it is again Westminster's turn. (This had been scheduled for November 2025, but due to a scheduling issue with the visitation team it had to be moved to 2026.) On May 31 after worship (at which the visitation team will be present), they will meet with the congregation as a whole (if you are able to stay after the service), the elders, and then the pastor. The visitation team then presents a report for the Presbytery with an update on the life and work of the congregation. Thank you for your help and participation as Westminster moves forward with our eyes fixed on Jesus.
