These national awards are hosted annually by The Word Guild and were established to encourage the pursuit of excellence in the art, craft, practice and ministry of writing.
Recently, Pastor Ruttan, along with co-author and therapist Sarah Joy Covey, received first place in the online category (blog - topical) for their 2024 article: “Recovering the lost art of porch-sitting and the evening constitutional.”
