Ecclesiastes

On September 13th, 2026, Pastor Ruttan will begin a new teaching series on the book of Ecclesiastes. The series will last until Advent.

Although written thousands of years ago, Ecclesiastes is a book for our own times. It was written by someone trying to uncover the meaning of life, the purpose behind our hardships, and how to make sense of it all.

At times, this is person is incredibly insightful; at other times, incredibly frustrated. He often says that "all is vanity" (or like chasing a mist). While that is certainly true for some things, he discovers that it is not true for all things. What should (or shouldn't) we spend our time on? What is (or isn't) worthy of our biggest priorities?

Let's journey together through one of the Old Testament's most mysterious books, but one that also provides us with down-to-earth wisdom for the living of these days.
