On June 1st we will have our anniversary Sunday service.
Westminster was founded in 1962 as a church plant in the 'new' east end of Barrie. We started holding services and Sunday School classes at Johnson Street Public School. We moved into our current location in 1964.
We will also celebrate the Sacrament of Communion. We have been using a few different formats; next week the elders will distribute the bread and juice to the congregation with trays.
We will give thanks for God’s faithfulness, and also have cake after the service. :)
