On Saturday, October 3rd, Westminster is hosting a workshop called
“Like Christ: Spiritual practices the Holy Spirit uses to make you more like Christ.”
The main speaker is the Rev. Dr. John Vissers, former moderator of The Presbyterian Church in Canada and principal of Knox College, and author of the newly released book, “Friendship with Christ.” He is currently a professor of systematic theology and has degrees from Knox College (U of T), Princeton Seminary, and the Toronto School of Theology.
Do you want to walk in greater alignment with God’s Spirit as you become more like Christ? IF SO, THIS IS FOR YOU.
There will be worship, our keynote talk, two workshop options (the Rev. Dr. Jeff Loach, adjunct professor of spiritual formation at Tyndale Seminary, pastor, an oblate of the Order of St. Benedict; or the Rev. Matthew Ruttan, pastor, author of The Up Devotional, and podcaster), lunch, and closing.
The event runs from 10am – 2pm (registration and coffee begin at 9:30am). The cost is $30 (which includes lunch and registration bag). It will be a day that is both informative and uplifting!
